Light and visibility tips

A clear view to safer driving

The safety of you and your passengers depends on clear visibility at all times. You can't avoid danger on the road if you don't see it coming.

The sooner you see a hazard the more time you have to react, stop and avoid an accident. Play it safe by regularly checking the performance of your wiper blades. Ensure you are ready at any time, in any weather.

Wiper blade check

Cracks, ridges or tears in the rubber of your wipers can cause streaking, haze formation or chattering. When this happens it's time to replace your blades.

It's recommended you change your wiper blades at least once a year to ensure safety and optimum visibility.

Lights on for safety's sake

Bosch recommends driving with dipped headlights at all times. This not only applies at night and in adverse weather conditions but also in the daytime. This enables your car to be seen earlier by other road users and can help reduced accidents. Many European countries now recognise this and have made driving with lights on in the daytime mandatory.

Check your visibility

A maximum of 4 permanent streaks in the outer field of view or 12 temporary streaks across the entire field of view. It's recommended that you change your wipers
